RPG Omniffusor wood

Overview
The Omniffusor has become a classic shape in architectural acoustics, from its birth in 1990 it can be found in churches, schools, theaters and studios all over the world.

It is an optimized modulated two Dimensional Quadratic Root Diffusor, that uniformly scatters sound arriving from any direction, into many directions, providing ideal distribution and coverage. Its unique shape creates an attractive, visually interesting acoustical surface.

While the primary function of the Omniffusor is to provide broad bandwidth diffusion, it also offers a modest and beneficial amount of absorption across the frequency spectrum with emphasis at 315Hz and 800Hz.

Description
The surface of the Omniffusor is designed to provide a more uniform sound field through mid and high frequency diffusion while the natural wood construction of the unit limits the amount of sound energy that is removed by absorption.

Features

  • 2D QRD reflection phase grating.
  • Uniform hemispherical scattering for all angles of incidence.
  • Broad bandwidth diffusion in a decorative, furniture grade finish
  • Available in 2′ x 2′ panels.
