The Diffractal provides full spectrum sound diffusion in a single integrated diffuser. To achieve this, the self similarity property of fractals was combined with the uniform scattering property of a quadratic sound diffuser. This unique and patented design expands the bandwidth and offers the broadest spectrum of sound diffusion available.

Description
In an effort to provide full spectrum sound diffusion in a single, integrated sound diffusing panel system, the self-similarity property of fractals was combined with the uniform scattering property of a number theoretic reflection phase grating to produce the Diffractal.
This unique and patented acoustical design expands the bandwidth of its predecessor, the QRD 734, and offers the broadest spectrum of sound diffusion available.
The Diffractal comes in a wide variety of finishes, including wood veneer, laminates, melamine coatings and painted surfaces. It can be mounted on wall or ceiling surfaces by attachment to a provided wooden cleat.
Due to its depth, it is often recessed into a wall or ceiling cavity. The standard unit size also allows for it to lay into a standard, reinforced T-Bar ceiling grid.
